Welcome

With the growing popularity of poker, there is an ever increasing number of live events where players are competing for life changing sums of money. These tournaments are now so common place that you can normally find at least two a month in Europe alone.

However in order to play in these events you normally find the entrants meet one of these criteria; They are sponsored, have enough disposable income to enter themselves or have qualified through a large satellite field. This excludes many players from taking part or having a real interest in the event.

The Story

“The Poker Syndicate” is the brainchild of Andy Gomm, a businessman and poker player from North Wales. The thinking behind the syndicate is that it gives those not normally able to compete in these events, the chance of qualifying via an online satellite whilst still retaining an interest in the event, even if they do not win a seat themselves on that occasion, individuals will still have the chance of a profitable financial return from the tournament. This is explained fully on the “How It Works” section of this website
